RE: Science Bytes: First Kitchen Robot That Can Cook From Scratch, Images Beamed Into Your Mind, & Google Glass Makes a Comeback
I'll be honest with you: I've been patiently waiting for wetware neural interfaces ever since I first saw Ghost in the Shell almost twenty years ago. The idea of plugging into something or using your brain to access technology is utterly fascinating. I have no idea how it could all work, but imagine how incredible that kind of technology could be!
Also, a robot that cooks a meal? SIGN ME UP. I'll teach it how to make Romanian food and I'll be rocking and rolling forever, pretty much. Till I die of heart complications brought on by delicious foods.
Heck man, I could even have you send one of those Romanians recipes my way so I could try it!
Yeah, we've basically been raised on this stuff as sci fi... and are living to see it become reality! Man, what an exciting time to be alive. A little scary, but very exciting.
...wait, you don't have one of those yet, do you?
Lol. No, unfortunately. A long ways from having one of those things.
