The method used to answer this riddle involves multiplication. you can find the right answer Multiplying the first number by the second number, then adding product of those two numbers to the first number.

ex.{ (1x4) = 4 , (4+1)= 5 }

{ (8x11) +8= 96 }

The correct answer is 96
