RE: 2017 A Quick Look - Science Facts
I love science stuff.
As @shehbaznawaz said, they don't have direct impact on us. For NOW at least.
e.g. Moon moves 3.78 cm away from earth every year. Someday it will move far away where our earth's gravitational force couldn't keep it in its orbit but that will take billions of years. Check this.
According to this article (as per simulation), at the time of its formation, the Moon sat much closer to the Earth - a mere 22,500km (14,000 miles) away, compared with the quarter of a million miles (402,336 km) between the Earth and the Moon today.
I can only imagine how beautiful and romantic it would have been to see the moon that BIG at that time (I am neglecting all the parts where the moon gravitational force could have possibly drove me crazy in a thousand different ways but I still would have LOVE it :) )
