The ET DE VARGINHA

When - 1996

Where - Varginha (MG)

The case - This mining town, just over 100 thousand inhabitants, was invaded by reporters from all over Brazil as soon as word got out that strange creatures had been captured there. After many stories - and fibs - Varginha it became nationally known as the City of ETs.

Authenticity - Ages. All authorities involved in the alleged capture of ETs deny the case - with the exception of some local politicians, who often take advantage of the episode to attract tourists. No photos or filming, but there are at least three witnesses - who were children at the time.

1. On January 20, 1996, a couple of farmers woke early in the morning and realized that the cattle was scared. They say they have seen the window an object flying over the pasture. The UFO would have the shape of a submarine and let out white smoke.

2. The next morning, firefighters were called to catch a strange being in a rut. According to some reports, the creature - it would have clammy skin, large head and long arms, among other curious anatomical details - was stuck in a box and taken by the military.

3. On the same day, after lunch, military police would have caught another strange beast. mismatched versions point to catch one or two alleged aliens. The whereabouts of these ETs would also unknown.

4. Around 15h30, three girls report having seen one o'clock ET in a vacant lot near the two of them home, who are sisters. The mother of two said to have gone to the site and found strange footprints, and have felt a strange smell and very strong.

5. In the evening, one of the creatures would have been taken to a hospital, where he died during a series of tests. The body would then have been taken by the Army to be autopsied in Campinas. Months later, the mother of the sisters said that unknown offered him money in exchange for silence about the case ...

ABDUCTION IN GENERAL MINES

When - 195

Where - St. Francis de Sales (MG)

The case - On the night of October 5, the farmer Antonio Villas Boas would have seen the house window, a bright light in the field. Days later, when he was in the field again would see a bright light. The next morning, while driving his tractor, Villas said to have been taken by a group of aliens into a ship. According to his account, the ETs have made a series of physical examinations and, after some time, until one o'clock ET had sex with him! Antonio would have been released around 5:30 am.

Authenticity - Low. Villas Boas was the only witness and did photos. Still, the case, one of the oldest in Brazil, is respected because of hypnosis sessions to which Antonio was submitted when he revealed details of the episode.

When - 1977

Where - Necklaces (PA)

The case - mysterious sky lights began to hurt residents of this small town. Many residents complained of burning and there was at least one report of encounter with aliens. With a population in panic, the local government asked for help to the Air Force, who investigated the case. In 1997, after giving testimony on the case, Colonel Uyrangê Bolivar Soares de Hollanda Lima, in charge of the investigation 20 years before, was killed at home, increasing the mystery around the supposed UFO Para.

Authenticity - High. More than 200 people, including residents and soldiers, testified that something strange happened on site. Doctors who accompanied the burnt patients provided testimonials and there are several photos of the lights of the city.

FLIGHT 169

When - 1982

Where - Between Pernambuco and Rio de Janeiro

The case - On the morning of February 8, a Boeing 727 departed from Fortaleza to Sao Paulo. An hour later, when flying over Petrolina (PE), the commander saw a bright light to the left of Boeing. He came into contact with the air control to check whether there were other aircraft nearby, but the answer was negative. The commander began to signal to the UFO, that would have flown off the plane, passed beneath it and done stunts. The "show" would have continued until the Boeing approach the Rio de Janeiro.

Authenticity - High. The Air Force did not admit, but, according to the crew when the plane approached Belo Horizonte, air traffic controllers noticed the UFO signal on radar. Moreover, almost all passengers on board at the object.

CASE TRINITY

When - 1958

Where - Trindade Island (coast of Espírito Santo)

The case - Invited by the Navy, the photographer Almiro Barauna accompanied a research mission in Trinidad. On January 16, around noon, he rested on the deck of a ship when he heard screams of the crew. The captain asked him to photograph an object flying over the island and the ship. In seconds, Almiro recorded the UFO, which disappeared without a trace toward the horizon. Then the ship would have had problems in your electrical system for a few minutes. The pictures of the flying saucer came out in various newspapers and magazines.

Authenticity - High. Besides the photos - considered authentic at the time - the photographer and the 49 crew witnessed the UFO. The hypothesis that it was a plane was discarded because, in 1958, there was no jet capable of performing the fast maneuvers of the UFO.
