PREVIEW.
Proposed experimental economics for Steem.
Maybe coming soon.
Social media with tokens is possibly ideal for this kind of thing. Who knows.
In theory, basically a dapp such that a funder with Steem, a university, or somebody else, can enter a payoffs list, log in, and run a generic experiment.
A basic script, something like the following.
| Players |
75
| Matches |
"A", "B", "C"
| Actions | Step1 >
A:
a
b
B:
c
d
e
C:
f
g
| Actions | Step2 >
A:
h
i
j
k
...
| Payoffs |
(a, c, e, g, ... ) | -> (A_1,. B_5,, C_10)
(b, c, f, g, .... ) | -> (A_2,, B_7,, C_2)
...
Once the minimum number of players have commented, the experiment runs. Some kind of simple bot. No personal information. Public opt in.
"If A makes 5 comments and B makes 6 comments, A gets 10% upvote, B gets 25% upvote. By whatever account signs in as running the experiment."
C makes 10 comments. And upvotes A. But they are not part of the experiment. Ignored by the bot.
Just a conjecture about possibilities.
This could probably test some interesting conjectures.
