Why Understanding Reality Construction is Important

Picture an alien spacecraft

Imagine it crashed on Earth and inside it was the most advanced technology.

Our scientists would look at the ship's technology and have no idea how it works. We would know it was capable of amazing things, but unsure how to apply the alien technology - So it would serve little benefit. However, through experimentation, scientists and engineers would eventually be able to figure out how the craft works, one piece at a time.

Once you know how something works, you can replicate it, change it, improve it. This is called 'reverse engineering'.

The human mind is the most complex piece of technology science has ever encountered. It is capable of both amazing and terrible things. Like our spaceship example, humans didn't create the human mind. We didn't even get an instruction manual. People are just supposed to figure things out as they go along. This has led to a lot of suffering; war, slavery, mental illness, greed, bigotry, etc... These are a result of people not understanding how to fully use their minds.

But now, humanity has 'reverse engineered' a lot of the human mind. We know enough about how the human mind works so it can be used to create a life filled with meaning, joy, cooperation and connection.

Once you understand how your personal reality is created, it becomes much easier to change it and improve it. You go from being a victim of circumstance to the creator of your life experience.

I love this post!! Calls for a follow. I first learned about reverse engineering when I wanted the movie Contact and heard it postulated that the movie featured a 'montauk chair' which was essentially a reverse engineered pineal gland.

I have heard of Contact but haven't seen it. I think I'll check it out. Thank you :)
