I just wanted to try out burning wood with electricity, using my DIY zvs driver,. All you need is a high voltage source, some wood, and tap water. Oh and some common sense, that always a good thing.

What type of wood did you use? Have you tried that out in different kinds of wood?
Im not sure, I used the left over wood that I bought from Lowes. I think the denser the wood, the better the figures come out. If it is soft you, may get the arcs to form internally. But I havent tried it on different types of wood.
