Daily news of our sun:

Yesterday showed up a new sunspot AR2669. Small in size and not threatened by large flares. With this new sunspot is cut a period of three consecutive days without sunspots, taking a cumulative so far this year of 54 days without sunspots.

On the other hand the fast solar wind coming from the coronal hole will begin to arrive in the next hours to the earth. Right now the conditions are 355km / sec speed and the density of protons 4.4 protons per cubic centimeter.

In addition we have to talk about a solar flare in the range of x-rays that has produced a sunspot right in the limb of the face observable from the ground we expect to begin to interact with our magnetosphere in approximately 72 hours.

Summary: calm conditions in terms of space weather. We are monitoring the sun spot that produced the x flare in the limb. The Kp index is at 0 which carries a risk for people suffering from the heart.

Some facts…
While in the northern hemisphere we continue in summer and whipped by waves of heat in the southern hemisphere, more specifically in South America have suffered a wave of cold. A phenomenon of such magnitude that was not repeated in the region since 2007 and a further consequence of the polar cold wave that has recently hit some South American countries such as Argentina or Brazil. In the latter recorded record negative temperatures with strong gusts of wind during the beginning of this week reaching up to 5 degrees below zero in cities like Sao Joaquim, in the southern state of Santa Catarina. As it happened in the Argentinean locality of Bariloche only one week ago to register 25,4 degrees below zero during the early morning, surpassing the -21,1 that occurred in 1963. Also the most abundant snowfall in the city was registered for more of two decades.

You want fish

Wow, nice amount of fish!

Nice post!✌

Thank you!

Arizona just had a monsoon flood after their heat wave.

It is just going to be one extreme to another, until it settles into cold.

If I think that will be the trend. The accumulation of steam in the atmosphere due to heat waves will bring more flood rains.
That will lead in next years to a decrease in temperatures and we will see how many degrees.

Thanks for the post
