Natural Sciences relating to how to find out about nature systematically, so that science is not only the mastery of a collection of knowledge in form of facts, concepts or principles but also a process of discovery.
Natural Science Education is expected to be a vehicle for learners to learn about themselves and the environment, as well as the prospect of further development in applying it in daily life.
1. Attitudes: curiosity about objects, natural phenomena, living things, and causal relationships that create new problems that can be solved through correct procedures; Natural Science is open ended;
2. Process: problem solving procedure through scientific method; scientific methods include the preparation of hypotheses, experimental or experimental design, evaluation, measurement, and conclusion;
3. Products: in the form of facts, principles, theories, and laws;
4. Application: the application of scientific method and concept of Natural Science in daily life.
These four elements are a characteristic of intact Natural Science that can not be separated from one another.
