What Science Really Says About Alien Invasions 21/01/2018
Did you know that apparently one of humanity’s most biggest widely held fears is that if and perhaps when we do encounter extraterrestrials they will wreak all kinds of chaos like you see in nearly every movie.
But are your fears because of what you have seen in movies? Would aliens really just attack us? Lets see what science recently says about it.

And yes before we go on humans might actually make contact with aliens if you think about the possibility its now less far fetched then ever before.
It sure is think about it since NASA launched its Kepler mission in 2009 its researchers have discovered thousands of new planets meaning we have widen our search drastically.
But while all those popular Hollywood movies suggests we should expect to battle aliens science is actually telling a completely different side to this story.
Yes really.
But Aliens would steal our water and metal etc
The aliens in Independence Day and many other movies famously arrive to strip Earth of its resources, right?
But actual scientific logic doesn’t make sense firstly most of our metal is in the Earth’s core and not its crust so basically asteroids would be far better targets for the aliens to do their mining.
And water for example you have icy moons, like Jupiter’s Europa these types of places would make it far easier to stock up on water not only that but they are uninhabited meaning no danger or extra effort in their part but they also don’t have to deal with Earth’s annoying strong gravitational pull.
Aliens would look like us
While there is indeed many many possibly too many humans you have to realise that actual human evolution itself is depended on so many unique and unpredictable factors so basically it’s nearly impossible that an extraterrestrial species would have many human-like features.
I know scary right the unfamiliar? But its probably one of the things some of these movies get right, Aliens would look very different to a human they’d be as different as an octopus with a decentralised nervous system and an alternative style of consciousness even.

No I am not talking about Aliens zombies waking up from the bottom of the ocean or deep inside the earth no what I am saying is according to some scientists should aliens contact us its believed we wouldn't actually hear from real organic creatures.
Huh?
No I mean if you think about it how often do you see man landing on unknown planets and collecting research?
No often instead we send out our robots meaning...not dead zombie aliens but we would most likely encounter a robotic type of machine that the aliens have produced rather then meet the Aliens themselves.
Not only would it be safer for the Aliens but I guess kinda like what some are already trying to do on earth right now in theory with robots the aliens could also live forever.
I know pretty insane crazy stuff eh?

The world of today is such a crazy place. I honestly think humanity has gone irreversibly mad. It is a sad and disheartening paradox that the single biggest existential threat to humanity is humanity itself. Not an impact from a rogue comet or asteroid, or an invasion by an alien civilization. Man's propensity for war as the method of choice for conflict resolution is nothing short of mind boggling ...
I agree I have often thought that myself what man does to man is pretty grim, the human world as always been weird most of us are insane or mad in some form the biggest treat is plainly other man and the power of war is insane to think it could wipe us all out, thanks @adisrivastav dont forget to upvote
Great post, I read it with interest. If we entertain the idea an invasion may occur for our resources, wouldnt it be a far better tactic to do it subversively so no one would realise and we would mine the resources unwittingly for them? They would need a base relatively close I guess. (What did they really find on the moon?)
They could wait until we mine more, a base could be on our planet, and who really knows if they found anything but I think surely by now something more would leak @meepleman

The theme of the aliens will always be very attractive for the terrestrials; it is a fixation that we all have to be visited by extraterrestrials,independently of what happens, . Perhaps what these creatures would seek is to study man himself, which will always be an enigma because of his abnormal behavior basically directed to exterminate ourselves ... However, perhaps it is man, who one day arrives in another world and he become aliens, and in that moment, what we have always thought will come true: the aliens came to conquer and destroy another planet ... Its a big human fascination, I agree like I said their interest would mostly be with research of the human but yes we have much more complex behaviour triggers then most, so it could be man who are the aliens conquering and destroying planets I wouldn't put it past us knowing its nature.
I believe that this whole issue about Aliens are just imaginations used in movies. I have never heard of the science version tho. Great! write up, you've got my vote.

I think what we need to understand is in reality a body can come to exist in any shape even those unimaginable to humans I mean any first alien encounters will most likely be more bacteria forms @sbyse dont forget to upvote
