A misnomer is a word that suggests a meaning that is known to be wrong. Misnomers often arise because something was named long before its correct nature was known, or because the nature of an earlier form is no longer the norm. A misnomer may also be simply a word that someone uses incorrectly or misleadingly. "Misnomer" does not mean "misunderstanding" or "popular misconception", and many misnomers remain in legitimate use (that is, being a misnomer does not always make a name incorrect).

Electromotive Force(emf) is not a force but infact it is a potential difference across the terminals of the battery which gives sufficient energy to the charge to flow through entire circuit.Recall the role of pump in liquid flow, it creates pressure difference, but charge does not flow due to pressure difference but infact due to potential difference.

Hubble's Constant changes with time because it describe the rate of expansion of universe.The cosmos has been getting bigger since the Big Bang kick-started the growth about 13.82 billion years ago. The universe, in fact, is getting faster in its acceleration as it gets bigger.
