It was a clear Martian day on October 25th, 2017, and the Curiosity Rover stopped on "Vera Rubin Ridge" to take these fantastic panoramic shots of Gale Crater. Curiosity climbed 1073 feet (327 meters) to get to this spot. The rover's entire journey on the red planet's surface is mapped out in this video.
