RE: X-Ray Crystallography

Hi. I found your post very informative, and upvoted/resteemed it.

Since scientists are basically gods,...

lol!

However: to increase visibility and impact, you should consider some things:

  1. post your scientific stuff under the "steemstem" tag. Steemstem is the scientific curation team on steemit, and if they discover and upvote your posts, this can give you a major boost (look at the payout of my posts, and I also just started here - all thanks to steemstem). You can also join their chat to connect to more experienced science bloggers than me.
  2. add scources and picture sources to your article (you're a PhD, I shouldn't have to tell you this^^)
  3. you screwed up your steemit introduction post. Consider doing it again, but this time add a picture and use the "introduceyourself" tag. This should give you some followers to start with.

wowow, thank you so much. That is great advice. I'm trying to a be an active member, but I am in the middle of trying to publish 3 papers, write my dissertation, then graduate in May. I'll mave more time to put more effort into my posts then. Thank you again.

you're welcome. 3 papers AND disseration till may? Let me guess: your supervisor's idea of how things should work?^^
