I was actually writing about this earlier today - but from a purely philosophical angle. Some philosophers think the nature of our experience - what it's like to be conscious - means that no physical explanation can possibly capture everything about our experience.

I'm stoked other people are thinking/writing about this - makes me feel less weird.
