SAFETY: Take off Your Butt
Today I want to go out of my way as an electrical engineer but I think I'm still on the positive path. Do you want to save your life at your workplace? Are you tired of doing one thing for several hours on the same spot? Then read this short piece carefully.
Three factors of change have become the controller of many employee health states in the workplace. These changes are:
Technological change
Economical change
Social change.
This three categories of change have made many people likely to sit down more than is healthy for the body.
Case Study 1: Sitting in front of the computer from 7 am to 7 pm like a cashier in Nigeria banking hall.
Case Study 2: Sitting watching TV from Morning till Evening like Housewives.
Case Study 3: Sitting playing games from morning till night like gamers lolz.
From the review, many people spend an average number of at least 16hrs sitting every day.
Sitting too much is like suicide action and from the look of this, there should be the solution. From my study today I came across some important tips that can help us in managing this unhealthy state, even if you are a doctor or account this is for you.
Before I go into the solution, it was revealed in New South Wales(Australia) that adult who sat more than 8hrs a day were 15% more likely to die if any cause than those that sat for just 4hrs a day. It shows that sitting for long can cause premature death.
Also, it can lead to cancer. I'm not a doctor as I said earlier but the study revealed in American Institute of Cancer in 2001, that physical inactivity or prolonged sitting is a contributing factor in 49,000 cases of breast cancer and even 43,000 cases of colon cancer.
From case study 2,
this may be a shocking notification but is real, in Australia he was a research that was carried out for 6years on over 8,000 adults and it revealed that each hour spent on watching TV speed up the risk of death from cancer by 9% and the risk of heart disease death related by 18%. With this submission many questions begin in your heart I thinkYou make answer, but my work demands me to sit for long period of time, how will I manage this?

These tips answer your questions
Stand Whenever You Can: There are times you will need to make use of the phone, why not stand to receive the calls, many times you need to read the emails that need you not to type why not stand and read. You just have to stand whenever you can and prolong your day in the land of the living.
Exercise If Possible: There are desk pushups try and use it or better you squats during your break period, every sure you can't work from 7 am to 7 pm, during your break time, don't sit and eat. Do some exercise... During task given or on your workstation do some stretching
Walk When You Can: Many of us working on 4-8storeys workplace building, why not walk and leave the elevator. Create time for yourself to work out of your office to have your lunch. Also, you can work on your colleague's desk instead of using social media notifications or instant messenger.
Use of Simple Tool: When you have small glass cup beside you, it will prompt you to walk up to a coffee machine or where cold water is. You also have small clock beside you, that will remind you to stand every 1hr or 30mins depend on your schedule. Some ladies love to take a selfie, during your break why not do that with friends instead of you sitting down and taking a selfie on your site.
Are you a business owner why not help your employee how?
Printer and Photocopier: Centralized the positioning of this device, this will make your staff walk to the location.
Policy: Set up a 10-15mins stretching exercise policy or some call it tea break.
Meeting: You can encourage standing or walking meetings occasionally.
In conclusion, there may be questions in your heart or mind saying how much time should I stand at work each day. As expert advises from my study, stand, walk and move at least two out of eight hours. That means there must be two times break in between 8hrs working operation, but as ideal timing is four break time out of eight hours.
Thank you for reading, I hope this review helps a little.

Well im not an expert, but i think everything you do has measure and you should control it. Infact when you overdo some certain thing your body will communicate it to you, except you did not pay attention.
Aii maybe ill just av to pay more attention
