Indeed the ant is ONE of the most successful creatures on earth. However, The cockroach has been around since the dinosaurs and have not changed in all those years. They survived Meteorites, An ice age, and a great world wide flood. Even to this day we have not found a way to truly eradicate an infestation from homes. I have an amber fossil with three of them in it.
