It might be a matter of monitor or resolution too. The one you've used has some of it color gradient destroyed by being turned into a gif which supports fewer colors.

I'd say this one looks a bit better:

Interestingly enough, the colors on your and on mine differ (mine is darker). I hope you don't mind that I didn't catch the flame in the exact same position as you did ;)

Oh I'm totally understanding what's going on now lol. I think without even noticing I uploaded an image somehow instead of the GIF and I've only just noticed hahaha. You know how some gifs just stop running after a while, so when I went up to check I assumed that just happened.

I must have just copied this carelessly from the steemit.chat since it's my new computer. The old one I had them all saved on my desktop.

Ridiculous lol, but it is interesting how it's not just darkness but the actual shade seems different. How strange

When you right click and copy a gif from many browsers, you end up copying just one rendered frame, so I guess that's what the gif was showing at the moment you copied it. Instead of constantly uploading the same files over and over, I suggest copying the link and using it directly. In my recent post I even added the code directly with the center tag ready to paste at the end of your posts.

I thought you preferred a static version on purpose as the files are kind of large :)
