China's big success in clone science, 2 monkeys artificially prepared
Chinese scientists have achieved great success by creating monkeys in artificial fashion. Scientists used the same technique to prepare it, which was done to prepare Dolly's name about 2 decades ago.
2 African lungs of Zhong Zhong and Hua Hua have been artificially prepared. To prepare them, mammalian organisms have been blended monkeys, episodes and human things. He was born 6 to 8 weeks ago. Their clones were made from non-fetus cells.
This whole process was done through the somatic cell nucleus transfer (SCNT), to which the cell was sent to the womb.
The Shanghai Academy of Sciences Institute of Neuroscience, located in Shanghai, says that this work will prove to be a boon for such medical research to prevent diseases caused by monkeys.
Both newborn monkeys are being fed milk through bottles and their development is being done in the normal way. The researchers say that in the next few months, clones of similar and African langurs can be prepared.
Dolly's artificial sheep was prepared in 1996 by the use of somatic cell nuclear transfer in Scotland. It was considered a great success in the scientific world. Further, through the same somatic cell nuclear transfer, clones of 20 other animals were prepared, including animals such as cow, pigs, dogs, chickens and cat.
In a report published in a journal cell, it has been said that the Chinese team did not get it so easily. For this, he made many attempts.
Although Robin Lowell-Bez, who was master of cloning at the Francis Crick Institute in London, who was not involved in this work with the Chinese team, says it is very ineffective and the process was extremely dangerous.
The Shanghai-based Institute says that they have fully comprehended the international standards prepared by the US Department of Health on behalf of animals, but the debate has now begun again whether the clone is ready to be prepared or not.read more
