What was in the beginning and what happened to Space-Time (Not a conventional view)
Prof. Dr. Christof Wetterich from the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Heidelberg Germany has an exceptional perspective on Space-Time to describe what went on in the beginning of the Universe. After I've seen his presentation the end of January 2016 I was totally happy and open questions that I had just seem to resolve by themselves. I myself wrote a concept paper for myself just to sort my thoughts better which were not exactly typical. Prof. Wetterichs work was exactly what I was looking for all these years and which I never really found. My work isn’t as elegant as his and also not quit so understandable.

Short Intoduction to the Standard Theory
Christof Wetterich talk in pictures. The best know picture is the “Success Story” Big Bang Theory. In the beginning there was just about nothing. Out of the primordial fluctuations in the vacuum arose an explosive expansion which we call the Inflation phase. Approx. 10 to the 30th and 10 to the 40th seconds.
Image 1: A pictorial of the Big Bang which we have seen many times.
The primordial fluctuations in the vacuum can be seen in the cosmological background radiation which led to the evolving of stars and galaxies after the inflation and production of elementary particles.
Image 2: Left: Primordial fluctuations leads to expansion which we can measure as the Cosmological Background Radiation with Temperature swings as little as +- 1/1000th of a degree. In the next phase the Universe would develop farther so that stars and galaxies could form.
Right: The curved line is the predicted development of the Jung Universe by Scientists. The dotes and vertical lines on the curve are actual measurement. The data is incredible well in line with the predictions. It's a conformation that the math behind the theories is correct.
The Universe that came out of the Cold
In the eternal light vacuum, the beginning of everything the professor speaks of all particles moving at the speed of light like photon particles.
After the creation of elementary particles one can start to talk about temperature and entropy. The Universe looked like the surface of our sun not transparent, a Plasma bottom left. As the nucleus’s captured electrons the space became transparent like we know it today bottom right.
Image 3: Our Sun left and the transparent Universe right.
The eternal light vacuum like shown in image 2 to the left, which developed to the cosmological background radiation isn't 300 000 years old but we're talking about a time frame of 5 000 Billion years. It was a very slow growth of particle mass and an gradual weakening of gravity. This is the consequence of a ever so slow change of space itself.
The Plasma shrank slowly and heated up until it was possible to produce elementary particles. Same Physics just different expressions used in describing the things one is measuring. Space is a property of Matter. Were there is nothing, there is no space. Space-Time is coupled with Matter. We'll come to vacuum in a moment. Space is defined through measurements. The GPS-System does the same. Three or four satellites determine a point in time. Many satellites define Space-Time.
Image 4: GPS determine a point and or space time.
Now we will come back to the saying “ where there is nothing, there is no space”. Well, not quite. Most of us know that already. There is always a vacuum that fluctuates just like shown in Image 2. A vacuum can have a minimum value which it can not sink below. It can not have the value zero. (Comment from me) A flat Vacuum so to say can not exist. That would indeed be nothing. No fluctuation, vibrations then no energy. You can't get something from nothing, therefore energy or minimum fluctuating vacuum always existed.
Space always fluctuates and has magnetic fields. Magnetic fields do not divert light. That is why we can measure space with light or radio waves like in our GPS-Systems. The speed of light is constant in vacuum. It travels a certain distance in a certain time. Time is defined through physical processes. Periodical repetitious processes can be used as clocks like nuclear clocks. You just determine how many periods you have to count for a unit of time. The next question is if space is constant.
To find that out we try to measure the Universe spectral analysis of stars quasars and galaxies. The red-shift tells us something about how far an object is away from our point of view.
Image 5: Top: Spectrum of the sun in optical wave length used as an measuring tool. Hydrogen Atoms absorb light at a certain wave length. That is why the dark vertical line in the red part of this picture. Other Atoms absorb light in different wave lengths seen towards the left of the spectrum.
Bottom: The presumption is the farther an object is away the longer it took to get here. Presuming the light left with the same wave length, then space would have to expand so as to lengthen the light which causes it to wander toward the right in the spectrum. The red shift is proportional to the distance of the object. Red shift v=0.07c is equal to a distance d=1 Billion light years. We have now measured the expansion of space during this period of time.
This statement can be considered true if we presume that the mass of atoms did not change over this time span. Then scientists can claim that the universe is 13.7 Billion years old. According to Prof. Wetterich there can be another view. Earlier on the atoms were larger and therefore had less mass. Over time the atoms gain on mass and space stays the same, dose not expand. If the light arrived in the longer part of the spectrum it must of left in the shorter part of the spectrum towards the left and therefore co-inside with physics again.
So what we can measure is actually the distance between two objects divided through the atom size. If the size of the atom stays the same then space expands. If the atoms gain mass and become smaller in size the space stays the same or contracts even. Mass is depended on the Konsmon-Field and that is growing.
Image 6: Top: Standard Model of cosmology
Bottom: Prof. Wetterich Model through Transformation
As you can see, even with different pictures of the same event the out come is the same. Physics dose not change. Space must then be a Matrix. Both views of the universe are true. Space and time are not rigid. It doesn’t make much sense to think either of a place outside the universe or time before it. Since the vacuum always has a value larger then zero there are no other possibilities. In the absence of elementary particles space and time are attributes of the vacuum. Space-time is influenced by matter. Physical laws are dependent on the condition of matter. Vacuum is not empty.
Image 7: Licht can be bend and redirected.
Image 8: Even empty space causes light to move on different paths.
Lets take another look at both models in Image 6. Both are equally good. In the Big Bang theory the time intervals become ever shorter when going back to the beginning. In the other model the time intervals become longer that is why the 5000 Billion years back to the beginning from the cosmological background radiation instead of the 300 000 years in the Standard Theory. The Clicks are the same number.
Transformation
The Matrix field or gravitational field is a vacuum with fluctuating magnetic fields at every point and at ever time. One needs 10 variables to describe the Matrix.
Image 9:Left: It doesn’t matter how you write down the 10 Dimensional Matrix. The bottom one is used most commonly.
Gravitation is the matrix of space-time, homogenous and isotropic (Uniformly and in all directions). Through the matrix you measure distance between matter, its geometry. Depending on which matrix you choose, you get different truth full picture of the same reality.
Image 10: Left: Important is the value -1, its the time component.
Examples of Transformations
Image 11: The Antarctic looks different depending on what co-ordinate system you use just like in Image 6 and the development of the Universe.
What was in the beginning. The masses of particles trend toward zero. Everything moves like photons. In the beginning there was the Light-Vacuum.
Religion
Prof. Dr. Christof Wetterich:
- The use of the word “God” should be used in the relationship between people.
- Humans or Humanity plus the world is more then the sum of its parts. This is where Religion resides.
- For the Universe God has no meaning.
- Religions like the Big Bang Theory because of the “Act of Creation”, but the universe has always been here and it will exist forever in the future.
