RE: "Identify the molecule" league #9. Prize: knowledge + 100 STEM + 200 TMN
Cool one!
Took me a of time to get to the quite obvious answer: Protein.
Now you're gonna tell me that this is not the answer and I'll laugh my socks off :)
Hi,
This could be the right answer :-)
"This could be the right answer :-)"
hi
This ("Protein") was the right answer to some extent/in some sense,
(The majority (or all, I don't know yet) of molecules in this league are gonna be proteins.)
but this contest requires more specificity
ATP synthase is the right answer.

This time we have a winner (see comments section).
thanks for your interest/participation for/in the "Identify the molecule" league )

I understand that that was a joke )

Owwww, yeah, understand you want the answer to be more specific! Great someone else found the answer! Njoy the day! :)
ATP synthase
ATP synthase is an enzyme that creates the energy storage molecule adenosine triphosphate (ATP). ATP is the most commonly used "energy currency" of cells for all organisms. It is formed from adenosine diphosphate (ADP) and inorganic phosphate (Pi). The overall reaction catalyzed by ATP synthase is:
ADP + Pi + 3H+out ⇌ ATP + H2O + 3H+inThe formation of ATP from ADP and Pi is energetically unfavorable and would normally proceed in the reverse direction.
