Nature is sure full of surprises and some of them are so intense that it sweeps us off our feet. Today I want to bring you surprising images of a two unusual lovers.

A butterfly is an arthropod quite endearing to the young and old alike due to its unique beauty and its array of colours. There are thousands of species of butterfly. Below is the scientific classification of a specie of butterfly know as the Monarch butterfly.

A frog on the other hands is an amphibian. Frogs are not as endearing to humans as butterflies are though they serve as food to some people. There are also thousands of toads in the world. Below is the scientific classification of a specie of toad known as the Fire Bellied Toad.

The distinction between Toads and Frogs is not made in scientific taxonomy. However, toads are widely believed to have a drier skin and to live in a more terrestrial habitat.

From the two scientific classifications above, it is obvious that butterflies and frogs are world apart in the ecosystem. Therefore it is completely breathtaking to spot them together. Yet in this picture, these two living thinks were spotted stealing a kiss from each other after after which the butterfly rested on the frog's back. See it below.

This might have been a coincidence. However, I still think this is a cute wonder of nature and I've decided to term it the unusual love story
