Finally a GOOD application for GM technology :)

So, I'm betting a lot of you have slightly negative views of Genetic Modification, and I can relate to that !
Monsanto and Bayer have certainly not been making the work any easier for those scientists (me included) who see the immense positive potential of this technology...

But with the advent of CRISPR/Cas 9, Everything Changes (Bonus Points to those who recognize the reference ;) ).

But still, JUST a new technology with a precision unequaled to any other in the past, and an error rate that is low enough for us to consider modifying ourselves, won't change the general public's negative opinion of GMO's...

But what if you had a use case that touches nearly everyone's heart ? What if you offered the opportunity to undo past errors committed towards "man's Best Friend "?

Yep... Someone's proposing to UNDO the horrible genetic mutations that we've accidentally breed into dogs !

PPS: I DO know that there are other good uses of GMO technology, but I believe that this one might be THE one that can help us truly put the general public on our side, even with the mix of fear-mongering and genuine concerns that have most of them against us for now.
