How Gravity Works, Very Simple Explanation

Gravity, as we have been reading from our junior classes it is a mysterious force that attracts everything having masses towards each other. It is the law given to us by Isaac Newton in late 17 th century. Later Albert Einstein gave the theory of gravity which is very complicated to understand by a normal human. So, I am going to write the simplified form of it.

Before gravity you must know what space time is. Space time is a term given by Einstein, where he says that space and time are basically interlinked with each other and is better to term them in a single term. Space time works as a fabric to support all the mass in this universe, including Sun and Earth.

A mass curves space time as a ball placed on the stretched piece of cloth. Then if a body comes near it then the body tends to move in the direction of the larger body. You can be more clear from this video.

This way the earth is attracted to the sun and the sun to the center of the galaxy and so on.
