Homemade soldering iron. So guys today i'm going to show you how to make soldering iron using AA Batteries.

Lets start now for the materials. 

● 2 AA BATTERIES

● BATTERY HOLDER

● SWITCH

● COPPER WIRE

● FIBER GLASS TAPE

● NICHROME WIRE

● SCREW/washer

Lets go for the steps!

1st. Step cut off a small piece of copper wire

2nd. Cut a piece of fibre glass tape

3rd. Wrap the pieces of  tape to copper wire

4th wrap the nichrome wire

5th. Make a sling at the end of the copper wire, as u can see on the picture below.

6th. Put the washer and screw it on the block.

7th. Use gluegun to put the block to the battery holder

8th. Solder the wire to the swich and connect it to the copper wire.

9th. Use gluegun to put the switch at the back of the batt holder.

10th.  THE SOLDERING IRON IS READY!

INSERT THE BATTERY THEN SWITCH IT ON

As you can see theres a smoke coming out, its beacause the nichrome wire is burning the copper wire we left on. (The smoke will fade in a minutes)

Thats it . Start soldering right away.

Quick tips. 

¤if you dont have a nichrome wire use the nichrome wire inside the used light bulb.
