The Cassini Pictures You've Probably Never Seen!

Cassini, I Hardly Knew Ya

On Friday September 15, after orbiting Saturn for 13 plus years, NASA will terminate Cassini's mission by plunging the unmanned spacecraft into the gaseous planet's atmosphere. You will no doubt see tribute after tribute, picture after picture. But I'd be willing to bet you are not going to see the images that I'm about to show you. Even though they are right here, on NASA's JPL website. I will link individual images later.

But, first, here are some facts I found interesting:
  • The mission was a joint effort between NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Italian Space Agency
  • The total cost of the mission is approximately $3.26 billion (Source)
  • The Cassini spacecraft is nuclear powered - It is too far from the sun to utilize solar panels
  • Launch date: October 15, 1997 - Entered Saturn's orbit: July 1, 2004 - Mission end: September 15, 2017

On To The Pictures!

These first three pictures show an interesting looking object that appears to be shining. Not by reflection, but by itself. Now, notice the stars in the background. As we progress through the photos, the star streaks are getting longer. This is because the object is moving as Cassini's camera tracks it. It would also seem to indicate that the object is increasing speed.

I believe this next picture is of the same object as seen above. In this photo I want you to look at the large, shiny object in relation to the stars in the background. Cassini is about to zoom in on the object and it will be the only thing in the picture that changes size. So this object is in relatively close proximity to Cassini. Again, if you click on the images, you can see them on NASA's website.

And Cassini zooms in on the object...wow!

What is that? Watch when I rotate it 180 degrees.

What does that look like to you?

The links to the next series of photos no longer work, but I saw them when they did work. I mean, that's where I got them. They are best displayed in motion...

Do you have any ideas? I believe it's intelligently controlled. Of course, I have no way to prove that. You'll have to decide for yourself. But I do want to present one more piece of evidence. A man named Riley Martin wrote a book, The Coming of Tan, between 1988-1990. The book was published in 1995. These dates are important because they are well before Cassini started sending us images in 2004. They are before Cassini was even launched. Mr. Martin claimed to have been taken to an alien mothership near Saturn numerous times throughout his life. The cover of the book is a drawing the author made from memory of his experiences. Look familiar?

Riley Martin's description of the mothership also matches Cassini's images. From page 11:

...I saw that we were coming up to the planet Saturn...as we passed one of the largest moons I saw it, shining like some great bejeweled egg upon the azure background of the endless sky.

From page 28:

The mothership is a great egg-shaped craft with both ends equally curved...I perceived her as a pulsing silver star...

Farewell

Whether or not you think this has anything to do with aliens, you still have to question the decision to destroy a billion dollar spacecraft. It's nuclear powered so it's not going to run out of fuel anytime soon. Why not reuse it? Are they afraid someone might gain access to it's data? After September 15, 2017, we might never know.
