Quantum field and Buddha's emptiness

Einstein and Buddha have much in common, they are exploring the same phenomenon - the Quantum Field, Emptiness, Prana, Tao, Qi or the Universal Cosmos ...

Emptiness and quantum field - the same phenomenon?

Quantum field theory is basically nothing special, every toddler experiences the quantum field in itself - without being aware of it. We carry the knowledge about life and the universe within us without being consciously aware of the laws. Through science or meditation - the science of the inner being - the cosmic connections, which are mysterious and inexplicable for the familiar mind, reveal themselves.

Einstein's scientific interest goes outside, into the exploration of particles and waves outside of himself, the scientist. Buddha's finger points to the inner world of the explorer, to uninvolved, vigilant looking, of what is inside.

On the outside and inside, Buddha and Einstein meet, and they come to similar conclusions - to the great astonishment of science, which is difficult to explain how mystics have been able to report on phenomena discovered thousands of years ago, while science has proven the same only a short time ago.

Matter is simultaneously particle and wave

Einstein described a quantum field that is very similar to the field of emptiness - also called "Tao" or "Brahma" in the Eastern religions. What we experience in solids as a solid matter consists simultaneously of waves (non-material forms) and particles (material forms).

The wave form of the particles does not occupy a certain place in space and time. The wave is present everywhere and at the same time. It extends over the entire universe. This is called a quantum field.

For example, imagine an apple in your hand. As a particle, this apple exists at a defined place in space and time, namely, in your hand. In its wave form the apple is distributed not only in the hand, but also over all its possible states.

The quantum field is a field from which all matter arises. The (apple) particles that result from it are not separated, but are actually different forms of the same system.

The field and the matter arising from it are one. Buddha describes the quantum field as "emptiness", of which everything comes from and goes back. Buddha says: The emptiness is the reality. The emptiness, that is non-dual reality.

Einstein's (relativistic) mass and energy are two different descriptions of the same size. If a system has the energy E, then it automatically has the relativistic mass m = E / c2; If a system has the mass m, then one must ascribe to it an energy E = mc2.

Whoever establishes the mass of a system automatically determines its energy; He who knows its energy knows also its mass.

An observer sees only solid particles, not the wave that creates them

The question as to when (apple) particles behave like a wave or as fixed units depends on the observer - from the one who sees. The property of a particle is thus not predetermined, but is defined by the mind which perceives the thing / the apple.

What therefore looks like reality for us is only one aspect of the underlying reality - the one we can perceive. The other aspect, the wave form of the apple, is normally closed to the observer. In meditation, space opens up to recognize this aspect as well. In meditation lies the life-determining ocean.

Quantum field, Fohat, Prana, Chi ... many concepts, one mystery

In a conversation with a scholar of the Old Indian writings (Vedas), Nikola Tesla found a clear confirmation of his project of utilizing cosmic energy. The Vedic cosmology exposed to the inventor the missing philosophical puzzle of the creative principles of mind and matter.

There the existence of an all-pervading, life-giving energy (Prana) plays a supporting role. This energy form, which in its definition has amazing parallels to Blavatsky's 'Fohat' and the energy in the quantum field. Whether "Quantum Field", "Fohat", "Prana", "Qi", etc., all concepts refer in their essence to a concept of all-pervasive life energy.

These concepts revert to one of the greatest mysteries of mankind. To the mystery of initiation, which the mystics say is the key to the divine treasury.

The following video in English describes the similarities that Buddha and Einstein have found in their own way. The one through insight and meditation, the other through mathematical, intellectual genius.

We are blind to reality

Atoms are 99.999999999999 percent empty space, says Gerald, the author of this video. This forces us to redefine ourselves and also how we perceive reality.

The reverse would then be: If we refer to an apple in material form, we perceive only 0.000000000001 percent of reality. Is such a normal blindness shocking - or what?

At a time when physics magazines are publishing theories about how to create entire universes in the laboratory, it is only too easy to believe that science is already in the possession of truth. But in reality we know almost nothing - and I believe this will always remain so.

Everything is pure energy - words of a mystic

Science has not succeeded in demystifying universal life, but on the contrary, it has made things even more mysterious. For example, it was just a century ago for scientists to simply explain that everything is matter.

In this time, the matter has disappeared. In neo-physics, there is no unity called matter. The deeper the physicist entered the world of matter, the less matter was found.

Everything is pure energy.

I love the article. This is a topic I almost think endlessly about. The nature of reality is fascinating. I'm really starting to like the work of Tom Campbell. Have you heard of him?

Thank you! Everything is one right? :-)

How real are colors?

Thanks man. I’ll check it out. Keep up the good work. I’m following your work now.

There are similarities. But this should stop there. Pushing the comparison further is in my opinion ill-defined. You are indeed mixing many things that are not supposed to be mixed. Quantum field theory does not apply to macroscopic objects, like apples to quote your example.

Note that the relation between mass and energy you mention is also wrong. It only works for massive objects at rest.

Finally:

In this time, the matter has disappeared. In neo-physics, there is no unity called matter. The deeper the physicist entered the world of matter, the less matter was found.

4% of the universe is made of visible matter. There is thus matter. Your statement contradicts science...

Hey @lemouth, the apple was just an example for a particle, which is observed, to describe it for people who are absolutely not familiar with quantum fields etc. It was not meant to be applied to macroscopic objects, but more to explain, that only with measurement/observation we are able to see the properties.

Do you have any references for E=mc2 only being valid for massive objects at rest? It's the first time I hear about this. Was Einstein wrong?

This is what Einstein once said about it:

I didn't write: "E=mc2". I wrote: "If a body gives off the energy L in the form of radioation, its mass diminishes by L/c2... the mass of a body is a measure of its energy-content." To be fair though, they are both different ways of saying the same thing.

Finally, I was talking about neo-physics, where there is no matter at all:

There is no such thing as "matter" - matter is a curvature of the space-time continuum. What we considered to be a planet with its own gravitational field moving around the sun in an orbit created by the gravitational attraction (force) of the sun is actually a pronounced curvature of the space-time continuum finding its easiest path through the space-time continuum in the vicinity of a very pronounced curvature of the space-time continuum. There is nothing but space-time and motion and they, in effect, are the same thing.

Einstein didn't said E=mc^2. He actually said E^2 = m^2 c^4 + p^2 c^2, where p is the momentum. The momentum vanishes for particles at rest and we get the famous E=mc^2.

Ahhh very nice...

E2=m2c4+p2c2

If you say p is the momentum we can take p=0 for a mass at rest, right?

This gives us:
E2=m2c4+02c2

Ergo:

E2=m2c4

Take the square root and we got:

E=mc2

Thank you for this really good and inspiring information.

Yep, you got it right! :)

Ok, I just did some research about E=mc2. Thanks for making that clear. I didn't know, that this formula is only valid for masses at rest.

Love it

Thank you!
