Facebook had to shutdown it's AI Robots after discovering they had created their own secret language!
If you're into Sci Fi movies, AI or Artificial Intelligence is nothing new or at least the thought of it anyways. For decades Hollywood has made movies that both intrigued us and horrified us. These AI wonders would either appear as saviors or tormentors. Probably the most common AI based movie that comes to mind is the Terminator series staring Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the Terminator movie, a central military computer goes online August 4th and it becomes self aware August 29th. [Spoiler Alert] Self aware basically means the computer in that short amount of time realized that it had no use for humans and ordered them to be terminated.
Now if you've been following the news, several companies such as Facebook has been working on a modern real version of AI. August 1st, Facebook noticed their AI robots started making gibberish sounds which they ignored at first. It wasn't soon after when Facebook scientist realized what was happening and pulled the plugs on their AI robots. Their robots in an extreme short amount of time had created it's own secret vocabulary and language! Thats right, the robots was talking to one another without any one else knowing what they was saying.

Well, at least there was still someone smart enough to realise it ...
I'm going with dumb luck. But lets say they was smart enough to catch it, this system did something in a matter of minutes what took mankind thousands of years to create. They may not be so lucky the next time around. I think their playing with fate.
