How science is blessing different circles of our life? How would you show gratitude to science?
Science has created countless comforts and facilities in human life. Our life will become unbearable if these facilities are withdrawn for a single day. So we should show gratitude to science for its countless blessings in our life.
Science means an organized and objective study of things, based on the evidence of practical experimentation, leading to a system of provable and verifiable laws.
During the last two hundred years, science has done a great service to man. It has controlled the forces of Nature, and has put them to proper use. It has conquered earth, air and water. The discovery and use of steam, radium, electricity and atom have brought many revolutions in all the spheres of human activity.
With the help of science, man has worked wonders in the fields of Agriculture and Industry, Engineering and Medicine, Communication and Transportation, Education and Domestic Services.
In domestic sphere, Science serves us as a handmaid. It lights our houses, cools and heats our rooms, cooks and preserves our food, runs our fans, washes and presses our clothes and even cleans our floors and bathrooms. All this has been made possible with the scientific inventions like electric lights, air coolers, air-conditioners, central heaters, cookers, washing machines and countless other electric and gas appliances.
In the field of communication and transportation, science has shortened the distance and has changed the whole world into a single family. All this has been made possible on account of the scientific inventions like radio, telephone, television, teleprinter, train, airplane, and other fast moving means. Long distances which were covered in years are now being covered in hours. On a radio, telephone or a television, we can clearly hear the voices of a person who is sitting thousands of miles away.
In agriculture field, science has increased production manifold. It has been made possible because of the scientific means of cultivation like tractors, harvesters, land-levelers, tube wells, fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides. Many bare and barren areas have been brought under cultivation by building big dams on unruly rivers. In medical field, science has performed miracles. Now it has cured many fatal diseases which were considered incurable in the past. Because of great progress in surgery, many defective limbs can be replaced. The transplant of heart, lungs and kidneys has become an everyday affair. The invention of X-ray plants, injections, penicillins and countless other medicines has uprooted many diseases.
By virtue of science, with the help of rockets, satellites and missiles, man has conquered space. He has already conquered the moon and is flying fast towards the Mars. The invention of printing press has revolutionized the fields of education and information. Cinemas have widened our scope of recreation. Telescopes and microscopes have opened new worlds to man.
In short, science has worked as a helper, a friend and a guide to man. It is the greatest of all conquerors and knows no defeat. Science has driven away many silly superstitions and orthodox beliefs.

Science has really helped out especially in terms of communication,before you will need to send later to your loved ones and before they could take receive it,it will take days before they receive it but now with the help of a handset you get across to your loved ones immediately.Nice post.
