YOU CAN SEE THE SOLAR ECLIPSE IN TWITTER AND THE WEATHER CHANNEL

There is no reason to miss the eclipse. The interactive live coverage of the eclipse will begin August 11 at 11 AM on The Weather Channel, Weather.com and Twitter.

The Weather Channel and Twitter will broadcast live this unique event that happens once in 100 years, so you can follow the total solar eclipse in real time and as it moves from coast to coast.


"Chasing Eclipse 2017" will be called the transmission and you will be able to follow the total eclipse in 10 places, from the ground and from the space. Live locations include: Stanley, Idaho; Carbondale, Illinois; St. Joseph's, Missouri; Alliance, New England; Hopkinsville, Kentucky; McMinnville, Oregon; Belton, South Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee; And Casper, Wyoming.


This transmission will count with:

- High resolution images and aerial drones of the Weather network.

Live update of the eclipse observing parties with field reporters weather.com.
