New official is being recruited by NASA to protect Earth from aliens
NASA, The American space agency, is preparing to recruit new official whose primary job will be to protect Earth from the aliens. The official will be called ‘Planetary Protection Officer’ and he will be employed as a full-time employee. He will also try to prevent the pollution made by human beings on the earth and the moon.
According to a report, the salary of ‘Planetary Protection Officer’ will be $187,000 including other facilities. According to the policy of this job, NASA is committed to protect this planet as well as the solar system bodies from pollution.
In addition to NASA, the European Space Agency also has set up this position. The duty of this officer is also to protect the earth from the possible dangers from other planets, because it is believed that the Mars is one of the planets that has ever had water and the existence of life may be possible there. NASA will send their next spacecraft to the Jupiter’s moon Europa in which this officer will also participate. Recently, this campaign has got the approval from the US Congress. During this campaign, the surface of Europa will be explored. For this mission, the Planetary Protection Officer will be ready to make crash landing on Europa.
NASA has clearly said that the candidate for this post must have worked at least one year in the top government civil service. Apart from this, the candidate must have accomplished advanced degree in physical science, mathematics or engineering. This job is only available for US citizens. No other country’s citizens can apply for this job.
