There wasn't really anyone on steemit back when this post was made :).
This was a long time ago. :D
But even now - this topic is so much under people's radar. Even steemit provides just a very small comunity when it comes to CRISPR topics. So sad.
Well, grow the community for it :)
Write about the research more, use steemit to attract an audience for the technology.
That's what I intend to do. The problem is that there are just nearly no people to read these articles. This is such a pitty. The topic is so groundbreaking but nobody seems to care. In order to attract people, they have to read it first ....
It is up to us to figure out a way to bring an audience. Generally where there is good material people will come.
How to do that, it's hard. There are some ideas, being kicked around (advertising etc). To bring in more science minded people.
