Science fair for kids - Belgrade

Every year, in December there is a Science fair in Belgrade trying to get kids interested in science and technologies.

We are on our way to our visit with our son Darian, who is all into robotic and tech stuff.

The Science Festival, celebrated its anniversary in a brilliant atmosphere and even better expositions. We returned home full of impressions. Darian (4) still asks why the robot could not come home with us, and how Nikola Tesla made the electricity.

Not to be misunderstood, this is not a GSMA fair where you will see the premieres of smartphones that will emerge in 2018 and similar James Bond gadgets. Is just making science more comfortable for kids.

Great opportunity to introduce your kid with a science. A quality date, and a possibility for a love on first sight.

Hey, a hologram! The hologram represents an image we get by intervening two light waves and as a reconstruction of one of these two waves using the other in the process. Great presentation and explanation of how doing the same with a little plastic, a tablet and a 3D image. Good enough so 4 years old can understand.

Next stop - best of the festival. From the pipes that produce sounds, sound rooms with lasers, where the movements produce sound, to the whole hall dedicated to Nikola Tesla.

Interesting facts about Tesla on the walls. A little about personal habits and attitudes, and everything that he did. Nikola Tesla kept the plans for his inventions in the head, without recording them due to a fear of stealing. I think i know some people who apply this quote :)

Plasma lamp makes a big impression on Darian. He wanted to bring her home, since all the pinks and live electricity in her. And without power, there's no Internet so he can't play games. 4 years old got a solution after a few questions ;)

Robot! Measuring distance from the obstacles? Turns to the other side to continues the path? He was fascinated.
