On August 9, 2024, Susan Wojcicki, who could well be considered the mother of YouTube, passed away at just 56 years old. Susan Wojcicki was born on July 5, 1968 in Santa Clara, California, daughter of Stanley Wojcicki, a renowned physics professor at Stanford University, and Esther Wojcicki, an educator and author.

El pasado 9 de agosto de 2024 falleció, con tan solo 56 años, Susan Wojcicki, la que bien se podría considerar como la madre de youtube. Susan Wojcicki nació el 5 de julio de 1968 en Santa Clara, California hija de Stanley Wojcicki, un reconocido profesor de física en la Universidad de Stanford,y Esther Wojcicki, una educadora y autora.

Susan was not only one of Google's first employees, but she was also the one who, in 1998, rented her garage to a couple of beardless boys, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, so that they could start the project that would later become the technological giant we know today. In 1999, she joined Google as Marketing Director and in 2014 as Director of YouTube until 2023.
