Robot dogs will be the new companions of the Massachusetts police

Robots fascinate adults and children, surely due to science fiction movies and series, and little by little they are incorporated into our lives, looking like a vacuum cleaner or autonomous car.

Even our coworkers will gradually turn into metal junk, and if we don't factor in job destruction, it will surely be a long-term benefit for everyone.

But what is no longer so "cool" is when we see these robots used to control the population or to play the soldiers on our heads.

So when I see news like today, I can't help but get goose bump and all the hairs on my rump stand up.

As recently released, the Massachusetts police will begin using "Spot," a Boston Dynamics robot, to perform the duties of a police dog.

This is Spot, a Boston Dynamics robot dog, capable of moving with great agility through all kinds of terrain, going up and down stairs and even being able to communicate with each other and organize.

Without a doubt, these well-used robots would be of great help in especially risky situations or for rescue, but personally, their misuse worries me a lot.

The United States Civil Liberties Union (ACLU, has asked the law enforcement agencies for explanations. How and when are they using them? Who are the accompanying agents? Will the robot dogs carry weapons?

That scares a lot more....
