Tearing away the Veil of Ignorance

I am a man of science. And I have learned that life is mundane.

Ghosts cannot exist without violating the law of thermodynamics.

Because energy is finite. With man, energy is consumed in the form of food and expended through metabolism.

A phantom has no discernible source of energy yet it would float against gravity and act upon its surroundings like a machine with infinite fuel.

It is no different from a perpetual motion machine. Neither exist.

What I do believe in is the capacity for the human conscience to concoct correlation where none exist. And it is called apophenia.

I invite you to accept the truth at the price of an existential crisis. Or turn a blind eye to it and perpetuate the ignorance impeding mankind.
