The true face of our Lord Jesus

A scientific team, specialized in forensic practices, revealed what the true face of Jesus was like by means of the implementation of computerized axial tomography.
Although the most widespread image of Jesus shows him as a man with an angular and elongated face, with long, brown hair, white complexion and brown eyes, a new forensic scientific study has destroyed this prototype.

The expert Richard Neave, a former professor at the University of Manchester, in England, managed to reconstruct a portrait of Jesus, after having examined three types of Semitic skulls from all over Galilee, in northern Israel, using methods generally used to identify the victims of various crimes.
It is a new computed tomography technique, which takes images of the skulls with x-rays and then analyzes the thickness of the bone to recreate the skin and muscles of certain areas of the face.
Adeamás, the expert used old illustrations, found in different archaeological works, to determine the color of the hair and contrasted it with a thorough study of the Bible.
