Know the science of red ants
Hi world steemit community friend: I'll explain a little science about red ants on a tree.
Red ants are social creatures. They do activities together. ranging from feeding, maintaining diro, and making nests. Ants earned the nickname as a weaver because of his expertise in making nests by waving leaves or other materials by 'sewing' using adhesive from larvae. This adhesive is like a very fine thread, but if it is thick like a white candle.
Like other insects, the red ant body consists of three main parts: head, body, and stomach.
In the red ant head there are a pair of eyes, antennae, and mouth. most of the ant's eyes are not good enough, there are even some blind ants. they use compound eyes consisting of various collections of small-sized eyepieces that can detect each movement well. Antenna ants serve as a detector of chemical stimuli and objects in front of it. Punta antennas of two long and crooked segments that serve as a means of communication among ants.
Mesosomas are present between the head and abdomen. The chest as if divided into two parts because in the middle shrink like a waist called pedicles. Ants like other insects, including exoskeleton (outer frame) that serves to protect the inner body and also attaches muscle. Ants do not have lungs, but have breathing holes called spiracles located on the chest to function as air circulation. In the bagana chest there are 3 pairs of ant feet. foot skeleton consists of 3 segments overgrown with fine spines that are very useful for ants to climb.
The badanya is located behind the body separated by the chest by the pedicle. in this section there are also reproductive organs 'sting'. This senate is associated with the toxic glands of folic acid that are useful for paralyzing prey or protecting themselves.
