Very cool! But this technology is quite old. So I'm not surprised that Michelin wants to perfect it. Army Humvees are using airless tires in warzones for some time now. Check this video:

Michelin prototype also reminds me of these 3D printed adidas soles: https://techcrunch.com/2017/04/07/adidas-latest-3d-printed-shoe-puts-mass-production-within-sight/

Wow - that's very cool, I didn't know that. I think, in this case, Michelin are pushing 3D printing regeneration tech as well as airless tyre tech.
