The sun light comes in many shapes
The Vernal Equinox is coming and for the southern hemisphere that marks the beginning of Spring. I have found this site that marks the sun-rise and sun-set times in a colored graph for many populated locations on Earth.
As the axial tilt of the Earth keeps its orientation throughout the year, the movement of the Earth through space aligns the Earth such that it neither tilts away or toward the sun. This is the Equinox. It is fun to look up cities on the afore mentioned site where I have been or plan to go to see how long daylight would be in various places of the world.
Cities that are closer to the equator have a graph that looks like a ruler. The closer to the equator the more regular they are. Those near the poles have greater pronounced difference in day/night in the Winter and Summer.
You might wonder how there is a sudden shift in the sunrise and sunset times twice a year in one location but no such shift in Argentina. Is the Earth suddenly rotating in a burst of speed? Is it a glitch in the software on the site? NO! In many places of the world, people set their clocks ahead and behind twice a year. It's daylight savings time. This is the daylight savings times do to otherwise nice looking graphs below.
You might use this site to plan your trip. Try it out. If you are public about which city you live in, post the sun graph with location below.
