Hint of a Multiverse?
We know a lot more about our world and the universe then we did just 50 years ago. At the same time we know about a lot more things we don't know.
One of those things is closely connected to the creation of the universe: Is it the only one? Or are there more? Is there a multiverse?
Scientists now have found a strange area in space where the temperature is lower then expected.

This - based on the current standard model - should (with 98% confidence) not happen. There is a possible explanation though: The temperature difference may have been caused by a different universe that collided with ours not long after the creation.
Multiverse theories are frowned upon because they have too many explanations that cannot be falsified. Let's see what the physicians make out of this phenomenon.
I agree, we should NOT put too much faith in anything that can not be falsified.
