China Plans To Build 20 Floating Nuclear Power Plants
If everything goes according to plan, in 2021, China plans to launch a fleet of floating power plants. They should be powering artificial islands in the South China Sea, oils rigs and for areas affected by catastrophes.

In recent decades, China has been one of the loudest proponents of nuclear energy. Out of the four reactors launched in three of them are in China and the last has been built in Pakistan by a Chinese company. And experts think that China is capable of launching ten to twelve nuclear reactors per year. But, there was no new construction started since 2016. Officially China is still a fan of nuclear energy but unofficially nuclear energy for civilian use is dead. The hysteria after Fukushima made the public dislike nuclear energy and even worse, the price of nuclear reactors went up while the price of solar and wind energy is constantly going down.
In spite of that, nuclear technology is still going to be used but in a specific way. China is starting the construction of floating nuclear power plants. These power plants could provide energy for far of artificial islands.
Floating nuclear power plants probably don’t sound very safe to you. On top of that, China needs to provide electricity for the artificial islands and the nuclear power plants will be much more practical (meaning cheap) compared to building an energy grid from mainland China to the islands. China has confirmed that they are testing a prototype and that they are prepared to launch the first floating nuclear power plant in 2021.

What if the only thing they want to conquer is just technology to help their growing population?
What really matters is looking at how Google moved to China, for example.
China must have made Google a great offer.
Why has Google been breaking American law, especially the fourth amendment? Why is Google and Apple refusing to comply with the Pentagon? Why is China buying up Hollywood, land, anchor babies, etc?
I can't really pinpoint the reason(s) behind every action that China takes, but one thing I can say that every move China makes benefits China. Which if you ask me should be the way every country should go about their business. It may be selfish but that is purely the way of capitalism.
Is that why they murder their own people, the Chinese citizens, by the millions and millions?
