Where's the Light going off when the lights are turned off?

Light is a form of energy made up of tiny particles called photons. When you turn on a light bulb, the filament is heated to emit photons.
The photons 'fly' around the room in different directions at incredible speeds, the speed of light, exactly 186,000 miles per second.or 299.792.458 meters per second.

On the other hand, the walls of the room consist of the structure of the atoms. Imagine an atom like a marble; everything is regular with each other. Every time a photon hits one of these, an energy transfer occurs.

And since the quantity of this energy is eternal (Remember, it can not simply disappear), the atoms get a jolt of energy, which causes
the atom vibrates. This vibration then radiates to the next atom, making it vibrate too, causing a ripple effect of energy to be transferred from one atom to the next. It's like dropping rocks into a pool of water. The energy from the rock spreads to the water atoms and throws out the ripples.
This event slightly heats the wall, similar to how the sun can heat something up. In fact, you can put your hands near the lights and feel hot. So, when the lights are on, photons in the room hit the wall and are absorbed as heat energy.

Then, what about the darkness after the lights are turned off? Well, when turning off the light switch, the remaining photons in the room hit the wall and other objects, then absorbed as heat energy. And because the speed of light is so very fast, it all happens in an instant. So that left only darkness - and fear.
light is not actually 'dead', only absorbed into the wall or the nearest object just as heat energy.
