Mariana Trench's Mystery and Living Organisms

in #science7 years ago (edited)

Hello dear followers, On this post generally I mentioned about the Mariana Trench. The formation of the Mariana Trench was the result of the Pacific and Mariana Plate crashing into each other. This place was discovered in 1951. This trench is the deepest point of the world so people give it an example like if you reverse the Everest Moutain and place it into Mariana Trench there will be still 1000 metres left to arrive deepest point of the trench. There is too much pressure like 7000 tons per square meters. In addition that James Cameron is the first person who tried to move down to the Mariana Trench with a undersea. The most interesting thing about the Mariana Trench is there are kinds of crabs and fishes lives there. As summary I mentioned about these topics below.

Hello everyone, as I mentioned at the title, on this post I'm gonna talk about the place that named Mariana Trench. This place is still has so much mysteries which couldn't solve, also it belongs too much living organism.

Mariana Trench known as the deepest point on the world. It is on Pacific Ocean and the south of Guam Island also at the center of Japan and Indonesia. With the latest measurements, the depth is known as 10,994 meters and the length of 2540 is known as 65 meters.

If we consider the formation of the Mariana Prench, these are the shape of the earth's surface resulting from tectonic ground movements, that is the plate with high density plunges underneath the plate with low density. This plunge movement can amount to 750 km depending on the size of the plate and can create severe earthquakes. The formation of the Mariana Trench was also the result of the Pacific and Mariana plates crashing into each other.

The discovery of the Mariana Trench dates back to 1951. In order to measure the depth of the ocean with the Challenger II ship, scientists made a note of how deep they were by throwing a probe at the bottom of the tank. The ship's great ocean is south of Guam, exactly in the middle of Japan and Indonesia, where the distance from the base of the sea to the sea surface is 11,521 meters, which is the deepest point in the world, such that the Everest Mountain is turned over and a further 1,000 meters remain in the Mariana Trench.

It may take up to 1 hour for a 1 kg iron mass released from the surface to reach the basin, which may vary depending on the mass and density of the material. It is known that thousands of very different micro organisms live on the table. The pressure at the bottom of the Mariana Trench is about 1100 times the pressure on the surface, ie the pressure per square meter is about 7000 thousand tons. It is known that even with such high pressures, the crabs and fish species that have been adapted to life have been able to catch up. Sulfur released by volcanic eruptions, which is 300 degrees above the base of life at the base of the pit, is metabolizable bacteria.

The pressure at the bottom of Mariana Trench is about 1100 times higher than that on earth. The pressure at this depth is 1.086 bar or 108.6 Megapascals. In order to make it easier to tell the power of this pressure, we can give an example: The average pressure of a person on an area of 30 centimeters square (the area we print almost vertically) is almost 10,000 times. I mean, it's like 10,000 people weighing 100 kilograms. Because of this pressure, the water density at this depth is about 4.96%.

There is a person who has come down to Mariana Trench, this is the Canadian director James Cameron. He made a trip to the deepest point of the world with his own submarine. Australian engineers helped build this submarine, and the submarine was designed to withstand more than 7250 tonnes per square foot. James Cameron's basin descent lasted for about 156 minutes and was found in the bottom of the pit for about 3 hours and reached the surface of the submarine in 70 minutes.

Mariana continues to have many mysteries in the center of the pit, and it seems that human beings will have more time to solve the secrets of life and living on the earth. Thanks to the advancing technology and science, one day maybe a new trip to the pit will be arranged and we will have a chance to dig up some more secrets on the Mariana Trench.

I will finally share with you a few pictures of miraculous creatures who have managed to keep up with the depths of the Mariana Trench, and I would definitely recommend listening to the video at the end of the article because you will hear a voice recorded entirely in the depths of the pit.
