What is LBRY.Science

LBRY.Science (pronounced Library(dot)Science) is an organization advancing science through curation, education, and community. With support from the LBRY and Gridcoin communities, LBRY.Science facilitates scientific discussion by developing and backing fair, clear, and unbiased content such as blogs, articles, podcasts, and videos.

What is LBRY

LBRY is a decentralized content hosting platform launched in 2016. LBRY utilizes a permissionless blockchain to create a decentralized marketplace and media sharing platform for all types of content, from videos to music, e-books and games, 3D-printing templates and more.

What is Gridcoin

Gridcoin is a permissionless blockchain and cryptocurrency exploring the relationships between DLT, democratized incentives, distributed computing, open economic networks, and science.

Gridcoin mints and distributes cryptocurrency in relation to the processing power a network participant directs toward data-driven analysis and scientific discovery, as well as through a proof-of-stake reward mechanism.
