Study recommends hiding in a big mountain range

Science tells us how to react in the event of a zombie apocalypse
Zombies don't exist. That is why it may seem odd that a group of serious scientists should dedicate themselves to investigating what would happen if a plague of the undead were to break out. But the authors of these studies explain that their purpose is to create models that can be applied to the prevention of potentially serious pandemics.

Assuming that assumption, how long would it take for a zombie apocalypse to spread all over the world? A team of British scientists from the University of Leicester has calculated this, and the result is that we would not last more than a hundred days. In doing so, they have taken into account two basic and fundamental factors: the risk of spreading the disease and the life expectancy of humans after having caught the virus.

According to his theory, the probability of zombie infection would be no less than 90%. Those affected would not have a life expectancy of more than 20 days. Taking into account all this data and the fact that on Earth we are about 7.5 billion inhabitants, the researchers concluded that the human race would not last more than three months. A hundred days later, at most, fewer than 200 healthy people would be left behind, compared to 190 million zombies.

But of course, these calculations have not taken into account the possible reaction of the human being. Thus, another study by the American Physical Society points out that if humans reacted in an orderly manner, trying to contain the hordes of zombies, they could be kept at bay for at least 28 days before they seized a city as big as New York.

Enough time to evacuate much of the population. But where to escape? The authors of this study recommend a place as inaccessible as possible. According to them, the Rocky Mountains would become the safest haven in the United States. So we can extrapolate the result to other mountain ranges like the Andes, the Alps or the Himalayas. But would three remain safe to become the refuge of thousands or even millions of people?

Honestly, we doubted it very much.

Nice read. Here is the a link to the paper.

The zombies live in the universities with their fake sciences. So in an emergency case do not listen to "scientists" and keep them at distance and you will survive. Only listen to your common sense. Life can be so easy without the dumb ones in the schools and colleges.
