Hello dear steemian, in this opportunity i would like to share you something about volcano eruption and several of its cause

People in Sumatra were lively with Mount Sinabung eruption on 19 February 2018, which spew volcanic ash reaches a height of 5,000 meters  and this eruption became as the largest eruption of Mount Sinabung history, In addition, the hot clouds also burst with a range up to 3.9 Km to south direction and 3.5 Km to east direction, the eruption of the mountain occur with 1 times earthquake eruption with a duration of about 607 seconds and 10 times a blast of hot clouds with a duration of 792 seconds.

Sinabung Mountain was located in the province of North Sumatra that coterminous with the Aceh province, based on the information of the residents, when the mountains were erupting, the ash on the road reaches a thickness of up to 5 cm with a distance of sight up to 2 meters. According to the National Disaster Management Agency information, there were no casualties in this natural disaster.

The Most Powerful Eruption

Sinabung Mountain is one of the volcanoes located in Northern Sumatra. In general, the volcano was defined as a fluid flow system that has a high molten rock, with a structure extending into the atmosphere layer, and has a various deposits of material that will come out when it erupted. The volcano may vary from time to the time, it shows no activity in stay condition, but the conditions could be re-activate and erupt violently, as happened on the 19th February, where the eruption is more powerful than the previous eruption.

The volcano eruption is a volcanic activity associated with the earthquake, the event occurs because the relationship between the slab of earth undergoes high pressure and temperature exceeds 1000oC that can melt the rocks into liquid magma. Magma collected at magma chamber at the belly of the mountain, when it was full, the volcano will erupting and it come out as a liquid magma or called as lava that has a temperature up to 1200oC and catapult a variety of materials whether it a poisonous gas or a hot clouds.

Several Causes of the Volcanoes Eruption

1. Very High Pressure. This event can push the magma out of the belly of the mountain, when the flow of magma out was clogged up there will be an explosion that known as a volcanic eruption.

2. Increased of Crater Temperature. This event due to magma has risen to reach the crater layer, so the temperature was increased as a whole section of the volcano crater.

3. Volcano Deformation. This event was caused by increasing of magnetic waves so that there is a change of the rock structure that can affect the flow of magma into a plug.

4. Plates Crash. the slabs of earth that rub against each other, can cause a great pressure so that it can cause tectonic and volcanic symptoms and increase the geological activity.

Positive and Negative Impact

The positive impact of volcano eruption are the soil of volcanic ash area becomes a fertile and it is suitable for farming for local people and the emergence of springs containing much minerals. Then has a potential for orographic rain and also the emergence of geysers (hot springs) and the increasing of minerals sources such as gypsum, zeolite and sulfur.

Every positive is negative, due to volcanic eruptions is not only have a positive impact, volcanic ash can damage the surrounding environment and have an impact on air pollution, some of the harmful chemical compounds contained in the volcanic ash are Sulfur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2), Hydrogen sulfide (H2S), and some other chemical compounds that are likely contain the toxins then the dust showers can block the eyes sight and the airways that can trigger respiratory infections.

Conclusion

The occurrence of a volcanic eruption can be caused by several events, either it caused of high pressure, rising of temperature, deformation of the volcano, or the shifting of the earth's plates that can make the rock layers narrow and the flow of liquid magma clogged so that occur some explosive or known as volcano eruption. The volcanic eruptions also have a positive impact after eruptions and negative impacts when volcano were experiencing eruptions, such as air pollution by volcanic ash that containing hazardous chemicals.

Nice post I didn't know. That is what I like about steemit you get information from all around the world.

thanks for reading, steemit can give information each other and adding insight

Nice post, Imagine what happened in Pompeii than :O

That was interested history of ancient roman to read, a town was destroyed by Vesuvius Eruption.

Yes, I read it month ago again it's fascinating what nature can do in small amount of time

natural disasters can happen anytime, even a volcano can be reactive in some time.

The air polution by vulcanic ash can make respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis and emphysema. We should use the mask when we're going to outdoor.

Absolutely... to prevent air polution

Thanks for sharing

you're welcome
