Study shows a newly discovered function of our lungs.
So it turns out that our lungs have a new function that we hadn't detected until now. The new findings suggest that our lungs are a huge factor in the production of platelets in the blood.
The study was conducted by the University of California.
Previously we thought that bone marrow was the sole proprietor of blood in our body, but this study that they performed on mice showed, most of the platelets that are circulating around in their bodies were in fact produced in the lungs.
What this means is that our lungs are far more complex than what we gave them credit for. It seems that the complexity to life persist!

Thanks God my peak flow meter readings are good :) = GOOD BLOOD NOW!!
Hahaha I know right!
Good information. Thanks for sharing that about the lungs. I have asthma and know when they aren't working right! I followed :)
Thank you! You never know, this discovery could lead to all sorts of things.
Hmm, wonder why the lungs would produce platelets.
I don't know. It was saying that almost all of the platelets in the blood were produced by the lungs. I can't wait to see the results of this discovery.
Breathe deep , seek peace
It definitely works.
