Does the fish ever sleep?
To be sure, the fish never evaporates. You need your lungs and diaphragm to do the activity. However, sleeping? That depends on the perception of sleep. If you mean that sleep is closing your eyes, the fish do not sleep because the fish do not have eyelids.
However, fish can restore power by resting. Scientists measure sleep by looking at waves in the brain. They know when the fish sleep because they can see the fish brainwaves and the frequency of the akam waves slows down when the fish falls asleep.
Some fish are silent around woods or rocks so they look like they sleep. Some sharks still move despite being rested because their breathing requires them to push water through the gills. In the human view, none of this sounds like a break. In addition: Dolphin (dolphin) is of course a mammal and NOT FISH can "turn off" half its brain and rest it, and half its brain is agile enough to avoid this type of break, called "Unihemispheric deep sleep." equals our standards even though some dolphin species replace 7 hours of sleep per day with "half-brain sleep" for just 60 seconds!
Dolphin (dolphins) not only "wake up" to avoid predators. They should keep surfacing every time to breathe even though they regurgitate. Young dolphins have to surface every 2 minutes, while adult dolphins can last up to 10 minutes.
Why does chocolate give you zits? And what is Zits?
Eating chocolate does not cause you zits, NEVER, and it just will not. Zits are pimples that usually appear because teen hormones are mixed with sebum (oil) and bacteria. So what does it mean? Anyone who has a hormone called androgens. This hormone stimulates the oil glands in our skin to dilate and create a disgusting substance called sebum.
Sebum is a fatty substance, dead skin cells mixed with skin oil produced sebaesus glands. All this is normal, but if you are prone to breakouts, your sebaceous glands react to your normal androgens and produce too much sebum. Blackheads appear where sebum and bacteria fill hair follicles in your skin. If Blackheads are not blackened by oxidation, they remain white and become pimples, or open and become inflamed lesions or inflamed cysts.
The good news is that proper treatment and usually clean acne itself in a few years. Everyone is different, but a universal requirement, do not squeeze your pimples. (Wash your hands!). Do not worry about foods that cause acne, especially chocolate.
There is a lot of research and it turns out just a myth that chocolate causes acne. In a study where everyone ate chocolate, most remained acne, some less acne and some more acne. For teenagers, do not be too hard on yourself by avoiding good chocolate. ENJOY ONLY.
Why does seawater contain salt and how does salt get into it? How big is salt content in the Dead Sea?
Salt in the sea is very different from the salt on your table. Sea salt is actually a very complex solution and contains more than fifty natural mineral salts. In seawater, the content of sodium chloride (salt kitchen) is most abundant, while other minerals in low concentrations include calcium salts (calcium carbonate, magnesium sulphate, and magnesium bromide). In addition, there are soluble sediments and rocks from the seafloor, the material from the remains of dead living and water.
The dissolved salt is brought into the sea from rivers and streams, almost 4 billion tonnes per year. Scientists think that the total amount of salt in all the seas may be nearly 50 million billion tonnes. The salt concentration in most seawater is thirty-five per mile, which means that 3.5% of the weight of seawater comes from the dissolved salt. There is an exception to this 3.5% ratio, the Dead Sea, which is actually a LAKE instead of the sea. In the Dead Sea, its salt content is ten times that of the sea generally and its location is very low from sea level which is about 400 meters below sea level. This lake is called the Dead Sea because none, even the seaweed that can live in it or around the beach.
The beach is covered in white salt crystals. If a fish enters this lake from one of the rivers that empties here, the fish instantly dies. This dreadful lake gets a salt supply from the Jordan River and a few small rivers upstream in the mountain, which empties into this lake, but there is no way out of this lake. The way water comes out of this lake is only through evaporation and it actually makes its salt concentration increasing.
Most salt comes from non-salt mines. Sometimes, iodine is also added to the kitchen salt to enlarge the thyroid gland called goiter. Since the plant added iodine to the salt of the kitchen, goiter disease is rarely seen in industrialized and major country countries, still found in many developing countries.
Why do men have nipples?
Good question. Why a woman has a nipple is something that is easy to understand - to feed her baby. We are mammals, and like other mammals, even rats and whales, we have nipples and hair. The nipple may be hard to find in some mammals and hair may be microscopic, but they certainly have it.
The exception to this provision is a platypus that does not have a nipple. Her baby licked the milk out of her mother's pores. Platypus can be ruled out, but how about a nipple to a man? This is because all humans start embryonic stages simultaneously.
If you get an X chromosome from both your parents, you will become a woman. If you get the X chromosome from your mother and Y chromosome from your father, then you will become a man. The genitalia (ovaries and testes) begin to develop from the fifth to the tenth week. But before that, everyone gets what's called a "milk bridge", two lines of tissue stretching from under the arm to your crotch area.
Slowly, this "milk bridge" disappears, leaving two nipples, although there are some who have three or more, along the former bridge. Nothing happens with human breasts until puberty, for women, but not men. The nipples in men (and all male mammals) have absolutely no function, just to remind us how we came from.
PS: Once born, baby girls and boys can remove a little liquid from their nipples, This liquid is sometimes said to be "witch milk"
Can you die of constipation?
Everyone has a different reaction. But if you three or four days do not defecate, you seem constipated. Constipation also means when the bowel movements hurt and when you remove the hard and dry stools. This is a very common problem and you seem to be
WILL NOT DIE because of this. However, you will get yourself in trouble if you do not go to the toilet regularly. Paramedics will advise you to eat fibrous foods or cornflakes in order to defecate smoothly.
Now, many people are realizing that food scraps like cold potatoes can help you make a bowel movement. So instead of bringing donuts for lunch or snacks, consider bringing potatoes. Should not be too long sitting in front of a computer or a passive activity.
Avoid unhealthy habits or eat inappropriate foods. It's hard to hear this news, but know "junk food" is not your friend if you suffer from constipation. Immediately act and your digestive system will be grateful. If you let this problem drag on, you will suffer from constipation for the rest of your life.
Have a glass of water, an apple, or some raisins. Enjoy! Everything will go well.
Why is hamburger called hamburger even though it does not contain pork (ham)?
Because Hamburger comes from Hamburg, Germany. Actually, the original hamburger is not what we see today. The food is more like a steak. This stems from a group of nomads called Tatars or Tartars who had explored Eastern Europe and Central Asia in the Middle Ages.
They like raw meat and even now some people love the so-called "steak tartare." The bottom line is raw or chopped raw meat, which is named after them. When Tatars introduced this food in Germany, the locals imitated it by adding some spices. The Germans began to call meat roasted or boiled as a Hamburger steak.
When they emigrated to the United States, they brought this food. Bread contents were introduced in 1904 at the World's Fair in St. Louis. Louis and tailored to the tastes of Americans. You can now find hamburgers around the world and even though people think that this food is an American invention, you know better. In addition, a cake containing raisins (bun) belongs to Americans, but Germans can claim it as a pastry.
Does the bird have a sense of smell?
Birds of course can smell. But unlike other animals, birds do not rely on their sense of smell to search for their mothers and their food. Because the sense of vision is very good. The first time the bird relies on his eyes, then his ears, and then his nose. The bird's eyes are proportionately larger than its head compared to humans. Birds have the ability to see long distances six to eight times
than humans can do. The bird's eyes are also flat to provide a wider viewing space and the ability to receive light five times larger than humans. The result? Birds can see with a much larger area and in a darker light than humans can.
But there are always exceptions that vision is better than the smell of birds, the kiwi. Kiwi is the only bird with its external nostril far at the end of its long beak. Nostril is used to sniff while looking for food. Kiwis can find worms only by their smell. That's a good thing because the eyesight is so bad. Unlike the kiwi, most birds have very small parts in the brain for odor perception.
Birds with large beaks usually have great olfactory. Some adventurous scientists try to put fatty meats above sea level. Umpas invites the black-legged albatross bird, which has a really large beak, which is located 29 miles away.
How about the ancient opinion that the mother bird will throw away the nest that humans have held because of the smell of humans? There is no strong evidence to support this view. Now you know why the opinion is doubtful: "The smell does not affect most birds at all."
Can you get electrocuted when calling in the bathtub?
This activity is not recommended, but if you drop your phone into the bathtub, do not panic. You may be surprised, but you will not be electrocuted. This is because the phone is not an electrically operated object, such as
something connected to a power outlet.
The phone runs with a very small electrical quantity, about 1/1000 of the electric power that can stop your heart. But the best thing is to find the safe, do not chat on the phone when you shower in the bath. Cellphone? Water really should be avoided.
Not because it endangers you, but your mobile phone can be damaged. Of course you know, the price of mobile phones is expensive (although there are cheap ones). Make your bath clock calm, without chatting, and safe for yourself.
What makes bruises and why if touched the bruises it hurts?
Ecchymosis is a medical term for bruising. If you fall off the skateboard or your head hits something, you'll know what that bruise is like. The purplish red color that appears on the surface of the skin comes from broken blood vessels and blood floods the bruised area.
On the first day you get bruises. The bruises look reddish or purplish - the true color of blood inside your skin. Then after a few days, your body chemically breaks down the blood cells and bruises you turn blue and purple.
About six days later, the bruise changed again to green and after that yellowish brown. About two or three weeks, your skin just back to normal. You can speed healing by compressing it with ice.
Who created the "thumbs up"?
Thumbs up is gesture and like shaking your head and hand gestures are kind of sign language, non verbal language. Some gestures are performed by young children, under a year. Some gestures are helpful in the trip, unless you are in a country that considers the gesture to be an impolite symbol. This can cause major problems for you. After all, thumbs up is a very popular gesture. The "thumbs up" is generally accepted as a gesture that states agree no less than four hundred years, or much longer. This gesture is accepted because of the fact "The upright thumb" means GOOD and "Thumbs down" means NOT GOOD. This may have something to do with the proverb: "Here is my thumb," from ancient English saying that it is used as the end of contract or agreement.
A thumbs-up gesture may be associated with an ancient Roman gladiator battle. The audience will close their thumbs if they want to let the losing gladiator stay alive because the gladiator is considered to have fought very bravely. That's what Desmond Morris said in his Body Talk. Through "Misrepresentation or misunderstanding", as he says, "this gesture gradually changes from the 'thumbs up' to 'Thumbs Up'.
Another hand gesture used with the same meaning is what Morris and his colleague who wrote the book Gesture, call "circle." This movement is formed if you touch the tip of your thumb on the tip of your index finger to form an "O" which in many cultures is defined as "OK" (oll korrect)
There are also other famous gesture movements around the world. "Put your thumb on your nose" is when your thumb touches the tip of your nose and your fingers stretch and point (and sometimes mock). Most schoolchildren will recognize these gestures as seductive or insulting movements. This movement is also often called "Greeting Five Fingers."
Why are carpenter pencils rectangular and not round or hexagonal like pencils for writing?
The pencil was shaped like that so the pencil did not roll from the carpenter's work. The flat octagonal shape is deliberately designed so that the pencil does not roll on a sloping surface, like a roof. Another advantage of this simple piece of equipment is that the pencil for this can be tilted to the point, which is more durable than the rounded end of the pencil.
Carpenters rarely spend their pencils because they are usually very well made so they run out for a long time. This pencil is very strong to make the line thick and hard to erase. Believe it or not, there are many people who collect used pencils or brand new pencils. That is why usually in pencils there are logos of wood manufacturers or tool companies that make popular pencils for carpenters, collectors and carpenters who are also collectors.
Why is snow glistening?
What objects are glistening like snow? The answer is: CRYSTAL! In fact, crystals may be more appropriate to call snowflakes because of their shape of snow crystals. Snow crystals are a simple form of ice crystals. Each crystal is formed when the moisture present in the particles of ash, dust or pollen enters the cold cloud
What distinguishes crystals is
the way the molecules line up in a hexagonal formation so that each crystal has six angles. Each snowflake is different, but can be grouped into several types of crystals that vary greatly because of differences in temperature and humidity during its formation.
The International Commission on Snow and Ice (ICSI) established a classification system for precipitation in 1951. They distinguished seven types of snow crystals: plates, star crystals, stems, needles, spatial dendrites, capped columns, and irregular shapes. There are three types of freezing prespitasi: groupel (which looks like round pellets), ice pellets, and hail. The frozen rain drops are called sleet.
Frozen crystals can form snowflakes that appear to be made of several crystals or like balls with thousands of tiny glass like glittering crystals. Sparkle snowflakes appear when light reflects back from the surface with many angles and caught your eye.
The snow glistens when it's newly formed. The melting snow will lose this ability. As the snow melts, all sides of the snow surface also melt and crystals lose their shape. As a result, the angular surface lessens the light, and the snow loses its luster.
