Will Our Species Make It?

Hi,
Was wondering how my behavior everyday can effect the next day. Predicting the future is what human beings have discovered and have been getting better in. Simply found through observation and documentation. Where are we going? Side note: My farm and city life has been rewarding and have noticed that when I'm in corporate or pulling weeds for random chance joy is easy. With behavior like this wage slavery is manageable and of course pushing to have something much better without instant reward is unique to our species. Now back: Would we ever see the extinction of war, poverty, environmental degradation, and the like? First, what is holding us back? If it's our environment that dictates our behavior and it changes moment to moment, what kind of impactful experiences would have to happen to make big strides to make an enhancing social organization? To me the best would be experimenting and refining ideas. Second, would we need the billions and trillions of dollars, pounds, yen and euros to start and get all of us to live lives that are much more powerful than the supper rich? Do we have the resources and technological ability to use the current science and technology to solve our common problems? All the money in the world is not enough I'm afraid to tackle the social dilemmas plaguing our society. We have an abundance for everyone on this finite island that is chucked through space we call home. Third, can we imagine people globally declare the worlds resources the common heritage of all the worlds inhabitants? This has to happen in order to support global progress like giving or conditioning analytical skills, critical thinking skills and a grasp of how nature works in children so when they react all our lives improve. This must be clear. Lastly if all of the above is possible with an intelligent management of the worlds resources using a cybernated systems that works like our body were all the organs and cells are well taken care of, humankind can start to go to work. With a value system of getting our kicks or being aroused by making and watching the world and society improve would be what we have in common. Supporting getting better is the new sexy! The rest of our interests would be our own and transition away from the many ancient and simple desires common today, like believing that there are good people and or bad people. Let's have the world and all the latest together and recognize our thoughts are not our own, but the product of our past experiences. We can direct the ripples into the future like no any other time in history.
