Google Earth pearls #3
This pearl is an areal image of the Moroccan Sahara dessert. It shows what happens when a rain shower hits once or twice a year but when it happens, it rains dogs and cats. There is no vegetation and erosion processes are free to do whatever they want. The result is an astonishing drainage network of small dry rivers and gullies. From the ground it's nothing special but from out of the air, it is wonderful!
